Casino War with IBS2.1 and DND Sports

Hello everyone,

I'm back from my long time off.  It's been quite relaxing.  One needs to charge one's batteries in order to be energized and function at full capacity.

A few LTW subscribers have asked me if it was a profitable one.  You see, gambling for me is work and during vacation I hardly work.  I did however come up with a couple of ideas that have some potential.  After extensive testing I will get back to you on those.  Also, I always visit the casino at Frankfurt airport to cover the duty free expenses. 

For the last 2 weeks, I have been using IBS2.1 at my favorite on-line casino Sands of the Caribbean at: http://www.carsands.com/index.asp?ID=482127&PID=3004.  As you know, IBS2.1 is designated for even bets, that you can use in Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, Sic-Bo.  There is one game I haven't mentioned, and that is the one I have been playing for quite a while now, as it is by far the fastest and simplest one to make profits with IBS2.1.  I'm referring to Casino War. 

In Casino War, the dealer deals each player one card face up. Then the dealer takes a card face up. If you beat the dealer, you win your bet. If the dealer beats you, you lose. As simple as that.  The cards have the same rankings as in poker, with the ace being the highest card, followed by the king, queen, jack, etc.

In the event your card ties the dealer's card, you can either go to war with the dealer by matching your original bet, or you can surrender by forfeiting half your original bet. If you go to war, the dealer will burn three cards and give you another card. Then he will burn three more cards and take one for himself.

If your second card is higher than the dealer's second card, you win your original bet. If the dealer wins, then you lose both your bets. If your second card ties the dealer's second card, you also win. The rub here is the dealer doesn't pay off the second bet you risk to go to war, which is how the house gets its edge.

There is also a tie bet you can make which pays 10 to 1. The house edge on that particular bet is around 18%. As for going to war with the dealer, do it if you decide to play this game. The casino's edge is 3.7% if you surrender, and only 2.9% if you go to war, which is nearly the same odds as single zero roulette.  That's why I always chose to go to war.

As mentioned, he nicest thing about this game is its speed and simplicity.  That means that you don't have to worry about remembering IBS2.1's complex bet selection.  Just place your bet according to the method and that's it.  On-line, it takes about 2 seconds for a decision to complete.  At $5 minimum table at Sands, you can expect to make 1 unit every 2 minutes in average or $150 an hour.   IBS2.1 requires the winning of less than 25% of all your bets.  In Casino War, you will win at least 48% on the long run.

One thing you have to pay attention, is how to register the loss in IBS2.1 when you go to war.  In the case you lose your bet in war mode, you would be losing your bet twice.  So if your bet was 3 units, and your scheme was 1 1 1 before, you will register L 1 1 1 3 3, writing the lost 3 units twice.  That won't affect IBS2.1's performance by much, as a winning bet cancels multiple losses anyway.  If you have lost say 4 times consecutively before, a new loss on a war bet will register 2 additional losses.  Therefore, you will consider 6 consecutive losses on your next bet instead of 5, since every loss on a war bet counts as 2 losses.  Your next bet will be placed according to the new scheme.  This is the way you would adapt IBS2.1 to Casino War. 

I should also mention that the DND sports service with IBS or IBS2.1 combination has been outstanding so far.  For the last 4 months, the regular IBS did not require a bet more than 3 units and IBS2.1 did not require a bet more than 6 units and every run has been closed with a win!

The fact the losing streaks and winning streaks occur in clusters makes the use of IBS or IBS2.1 ideal.

Between September 30-October 10, DND performed 11-1!

7 consecutive losses between October 11-October 15 were resolved by IBS with bets no higher than 3 units (plus the vigs).  During consecutive losses, IBS or IBS2.1 bets no more than 1 unit.

IBS made 40 units since July 22, 2005.  DND had 61 wins versus 40 losses.  A 61/(61+40) or a 60.4% performance.  Quite remarkable!  Flat betting would have made 21 units.  With the regular IBS, you would have made 40 units.  With IBS2.1, you would have made 42 units.
