"Learn
how to win at craps
from the 30 year plus experienced pro"
Winning at Craps
by Perry
Benedik
This is a collection of betting strategies for craps bettors who are already
well-experienced with the game, and ready to perhaps gain some new insights
into how they can get better winning performances out of their bankrolls.
All suggested and recommended betting strategies are based on the author’s
30-plus years of experience at the craps tables, as well as the results of
actual live-play data that was personally-recorded over a period of several
years.
There will be certain betting methods that will almost certainly go
“against-the-grain” for many craps bettors - those who have been conditioned
over the years to make their bets in ways that never change, no matter how
much they continue to lose. All suggested betting methods are intended for
those who are not only interested in playing the game of craps, but winning
at it. However, don’t expect to find any exaggerated claims about how rich
you’re going to get by using them. That depends entirely on the trends of
the game, and how you handle them. Instead, you can expect to find some
down-to-earth and innovative betting ideas that will give you better chances
to come out ahead at craps, no matter what you like to bet on.
Specific bets covered include: Pass line bets, Don’t Pass bets, Place bets,
and even Field bets - in other words, something for everyone who wants to
play craps. In addition to some of the lowest-risk betting methods for the
Pass and Don’t Pass lines, place-bettors will discover how to make the most
out of a hot roll, and even Field-bettors will see how a “bad bet” can
become a winner.
All suggested and recommended betting methods are guaranteed to show you
some of the best ways to go about minimizing your risks, and maximizing your
rewards at craps. By applying sound money management to all aspects of
betting, even well-experienced craps players will be amazed at how the
simplicity of certain betting applications can improve your chances to win,
and make an enjoyable game much more profitable.
For the price of $7,500 U.S., you will be able to acquire the author’s recommended and
very effective betting methods. I strongly recommend them.

Update and FAQ on
PerryB's
Winning at Craps System
PerryB's Improved Pass Line betting has
been doing extremely well. Here is an update on the betting
results
Total for the week of Nov.26-07 to Dec.2-07: +13 units (W 58 - L 45)
Since Jan.29-07: +225 units (W 2,899 - L 2,674) = +52.01 % out of 5,573
actual-bets.
Although my stop-win and stop-loss limits for each 2-table betting session
were based on current combined-totals from BOTH tables, I began keeping IPL
betting results for individual-tables only since Feb.12-07, and they are as
follows:
From Feb.12-07 to Dec.2-07, IPL betting results for Table #1: +81 units
(W 1,407 - L 1,326 = +51.5%)
From Feb.12-07 to Dec.2-07, IPL betting results for Table #2: +126 units
(W 1,375 - L 1,249 = +52.4%)
From Feb.12-07 to Dec.2-07, IPL betting results for Table #1 + Table #2 =
+207 units
(W 2,782 - L 2,575 = +51.93% out of 5,357 actual-bets.)
Perry has a few suggestions on how to
even better manage your money:
"My ongoing IPL betting has resulted in
me implementing some very good "rules" into my daily play that can make
anyone a better player in the long run.
Here are a few guidelines and examples concerning the distribution of Wins
(W) and Losses (L) that may enable many of you to improve your very own
betting results - at ANY game. Although the main goal is to have a higher
actual-bet win-ratio (more wins than losses), you will notice that quite a
few include breaking-even. (It is very important to keep in mind that if
"the best loss is a small loss", then breaking-even is no loss at all.):
Stop-betting examples:
My basic stop-win scenario: [+3 > -1]:
W-W-W-L: Stop-win (+2) or, W-W-W-W-W-L: Stop-win (+4)
Other [3W / 1L] distributions:
W-L-W-W: Stop-win (+2)
W-W-L-W: Stop-win (+2)
L-W-W-W: Stop-win (+2), or make ONLY 1 more (losing) bet [+3 > -1]
All (break-even) combinations of 2W and 2L:
W-W-L-L: Stop (+0)
L-L-W-W: Stop (+0)
L-W-L-W: Stop (+0)
W-L-W-L: Stop (+0)
All (break-even) combinations of 3L and 3W, such as:
L-L-L-W-W-W: Stop (+0)
L-L-W-L-W-W: Stop (+0)
All (break-even) combinations of 4L and 4W, such as:
L-L-L-W-W-L-W-W: Stop (+0)
L-L-W-L-L-W-W-W: Stop (+0)
L-W-L-L-W-L-W-W-W: Stop (+0)
Controlled Stop-losses:
L-L-L-L-L: Stop (-5)
L-L-W-L-L-W-L-L-L: Stop (-5)
W-L-L-L-W-L-L-L-L: Stop (-5)
L-L-L-L-[W-L-W-W] (3W / 1L) : Stop (-2)
L-L-L-[W-L-W-W] (3W / 1L) : Stop (-1)
L-L-L-[L-W-W-W] (3W / 1L) : Stop (-1)
I am certain that applying these guidelines will give many of you much
better chances to end up winners."
Here are some FAQ answered by Perry:
Q. What is the recommended flat bet bank
roll for IPL?
A. I recommend a security-bankroll of 30 - 50 units per table. While I
started out with a bankroll of only 50 units, and designated a 2-table
(combined) stop-loss limit of only -5 units per day, please be advised that
I have never formalized any stop-win and stop-loss limits for 1-table
betting. However, a stop-loss limit not more than -3 or -4 units per table
should be quite reasonable - with the clear understanding that the same
“rules” must apply all the time.
Q. What is the worst draw down you have encountered in live or paper
testing?
A. Playing within the stop-loss parameters of not more than -5 units per
day, the worst (2-table) week that I encountered was -14 units. (When I
examined the individual performances of IPL betting at both tables, the
worst runs were -24 flat-bets on Table #1, and -21 on Table #2.)
Q. If there are 20 decisions per hour at your average craps table, how many
of those decisions would you actually bet on?
A. Although it sometimes varies, the game will usually generate about 6 - 10
betting triggers per hour, per table.
Q. Out of the 5300 decisions you played, how many rolls would you say that
represents in terms of tracking and betting?
A. I would be just guessing at somewhere around 250,000+ rolls.
Q. Can you simulate your approach on a computer?
A. I'm sure that it's possible, but only if you program the
computer-simulation to stop betting at the appropriate stop-win and
stop-loss limits. (Otherwise it wouldn't be any better than testing against
a never-ending database.)
Q. Depending on your bet triggers, why not bet the DP at times when the
opposite scenario presents itself to your PL trigger?
A. Of course, betting on "the opposite scenario" could always be done. But
that is entirely another bet selection, and would require another bankroll -
designated only to DP bets.
Q. If you have a flat bet advantage, then any progression will work in the
long run. Would a mild flat bet negative progression with 4-5 tiers
consisting of 5-7 bets each with tiers of (1,1.5,2.3,3.5,5, etc) with some
simple rules to get you out of recovery work on this bet approach?
A. I have paper-tested a 25-bet (55-unit) betting progression with some very
optimistic results. Although this progression would have to be played
continuously (from day to day,) actual-bets were only placed within the
stop-win and stop-loss parameters that were used for 2 tables.
Q. How many consecutive losers do you usually see and what was the worst so
far? If you are looking at 48% losers, it seems to me you could easily see
10 consecutive losers and draw downs in the 15-20 range.
A. There is no limit to how many times any even-money bet can lose. That is
why I've always kept my losses very low (-5 bets per day.) Playing at both
tables, I never really had any serious problems with loss-recovery using
only flat-bets.
Q. Do you believe you have a bet advantage outside of your money management
rules?
A. If the IPL bet-selection were to be played every time out, although
it may well come out ahead in the long run, I am quite certain that it would
not perform as well as it does when a sound money-management plan is
applied.
